How to Fold an Origami Crab? (with Pictures)

What are we going to fold today? You guessed it—a lovely little crab! It's easy to fold and almost impossible to mess up. Follow my steps and let's start folding!

Origami Crab-No:1-Origami Aquatic

Materials: Red square cardstock, white cardstock or eye stickers, and a pen.

Step 1: Fold the red square cardstock along the diagonal to create an "X" crease pattern.

Step 2: Collapse the paper along the creases to form a triangle.

Step 3: Flip the triangle to the right side.

Step 4: Fold the tip of the triangle at a 45° angle upward.

Step 5: Flip to the left and fold in the same way as described above.

Step 6: Flip back to the original position and fold up a portion of the bottom.

Step 7: Fold the two pointed ends downward at a 45° angle.

Step 8: Fold down a portion of the top.

Step 9: Turn to the front side, and you can see the basic shape of our little crab is now complete.

Step 10: You can cut out two circles from white cardstock and draw pupils with a pen, or simply use eye stickers to add eyes to your little crab.

Step 11: Use a black pen to draw a smiling expression on the crab, and your little crab is now complete!
