How to Fold an Origami Crab? (with Pictures)

Hello everyone. What I'm going to share with you is a way to make an adorable paper - folded crab by hand. The method is simple and the result is quite good. If you need it, please refer to this tutorial.

Materials: Square origami paper, black marker pen

Step 1: Take a red square origami paper and place it face down. Fold it from left to right once and then unfold it. Next, fold it from top to bottom twice. This will create creases on the paper as shown in the figure.

Step 2: Then fold the left and right sides inwards until the edges coincide with the vertical mid - line.

Step 3: After folding, there are 4 small squares formed by the creases on each side of the mid - line. Now, open the upper - right square to the right.

Step 4: Open it until the second square. Open the upper - left square on the left side in the same way to make both sides symmetrical.

Step 5: Then press the upper edge downwards and fold it into a trapezoid in the shape of a roof.

Step 6: Fold the squares on both sides of the bottom in the same way to form trapezoids.

Step 7: Fold the upper - right corner upwards so that the two angles shown in the figure are approximately equal. Fold the upper - left corner upwards in the same way.

Step 8: Fold the lower - right edge upwards as shown in the figure.

Step 9: After folding, the two black lines should be parallel. Fold the left side upwards in the same way.

Step 10: Then fold them downwards in the opposite direction respectively.

Step 11: Then fold the bottom - most corner upwards.

Step 12: Flip it over.

Step 13: Finally, fold the two upper corners inwards.

Step 14: Draw the facial features of the crab and it's done.
