Origami rockets for kids is a simple and fun activity. It not only exercises children's hands - on ability but also stimulates their interest in space exploration. Here is a simple origami rocket tutorial that children can easily follow.

First, fold the colored paper along the two mid - lines, then turn it to the back side and fold it along the diagonals. Then, fold it into the shape shown in Figure 3, as demonstrated.

Fold the corners on both sides upwards. Do the same for the back side. Then, fold the corners downwards. Again, repeat the same operation on the back side.

Open the four corners (both front and back) and fold them into small squares. Then, turn the edges to the other side, as shown in the figure.

Fold the edges on both sides inwards. Do the same for the back side, as the figure shows.

Next, open the folded corners and bisect the angles, making it look like Figure 2.

After folding everything, adjust the shape, and it's done, as shown in the figure below.
