Paper packaging boxes are a practical and creative handicraft project. We can transform an ordinary piece of paper into an exquisite packaging box, adding a special surprise to gifts. Now, we'll teach you how to make a beautiful origami triangular packaging box.
First, prepare 6 square - shaped colored papers of the same size. If you want it to look more attractive, it is recommended that you choose three different - colored papers for making the box lid.
Step 1: Fold the square paper according to the creases in Figure 2 above. Fold the two opposite sides respectively. Then, choose one of the sides and fold it towards the middle crease. Next, choose another side and fold it to the position of the previous crease, that is, make a crease at the one - eighth mark.
Step 2: After making all the creases, unfold the paper completely. Then, fold it inwards according to the blue - line markings in Figure 2 above to form the shape in Figure 3.
Step 3: Along the blue - line markings in Figure 3, fold the bottom part upwards to form Figure 4.
Step 4: After folding, make the two red - marked points in Figure 1 above coincide, that is, fold it along the blue line as shown in Figure 2.
Step 5: Oops, it was not marked in the previous figure. Here, fold the extra parts on both sides of the red - marked point at the bottom inwards to form creases.
Step 6: Thus, a small unit is completed. Then, make the remaining 5 units in the same way, so you'll have 6 identical units in total.
Step 7: After that, start making the box lid first. Select 3 units of different colors. Insert the small extra corners on both sides into the inner part below the adjacent unit, just like in Figure 4. Connect the bottoms of the three units tightly.
Step 8: As shown in Figure 1 above, after connecting, also connect the joint of the beginning and the end to get Figure 2.
Step 9: Now, there are still the upper triangles left. Press each triangle onto the adjacent one below. Like in Figure 3.
Step 10: Finally, make the box in the same way as the lid. After finishing, it will look like Figure 4 above.
