How to Fold an Origami darts? Many children want to have such a fun darts toy of their own. Now, I'll teach you a simple way to make a paper - folded shuriken by hand. Let's learn together!
Step 1: Fold the bottom edge of the square to meet the top edge, creating 2 rectangles, as shown in the figure below.
Step 2: Fold the right - bottom right - angle to coincide with the top edge, forming an isosceles right - triangle, as shown in the figure below.
Step 3: Unfold the paper folded in Step 2 and press it flat. You can clearly see the crease.
Step 4: Fold the two right - angles on the left side of the paper parallel to the middle line respectively to form isosceles right - triangles, as shown in the figure below.
Step 5: Fold the bottom edge to the top edge again, as shown in the figure below.
Step 6: Hold the left - hand side of the paper down with your left hand, and use your right hand to fold the vertical edge of the upper - right corner inward and press it.
Step 7: After folding as in Step 6, a quadrilateral is formed. Fold 8 identical components in total.
Step 8: Insert the second component into the middle of the first component, with the sides parallel to each other, as shown in the figure below.
Step 9: Fold the protruding corner of the yellow paper into a small triangle and tuck it into the opening of the blue paper for fixation. Do the same for the two small corners.
Step 10: Repeat the folding method in Step 9 for the following components.
Step 11: Connect the first component with the eighth component to form an octagonal ring.
Step 12: Push the opposite left - and - right sides towards the middle simultaneously, and you can see the paper changing shape. Do the same for the remaining 3 pairs of opposite sides.
Step 13: After pushing all 4 pairs of opposite sides towards the middle, a simple octagonal shuriken is completed.
